After the Van Gogh museum, we were feeling pretty dehydrated. An opportunity for a beer, you say? Yup. The bar across the canal was pouring a beer I hadn’t had since our visit to Maastricht in 1994, Wieckse Witte, a Dutch wheat beer that hit the spot. After relaxing for a bit, we went back to the hotel where we made the mistake of ordering pizza in the lobby bar. When will we ever learn that ordering pizza must be done either in Italy or New Jersey!
