Oy vay, a Viking!

Viking ships were amazing. The Danes knew about cool design even then. This one is reproduction of a ship built around 1040 in Dublin, Ireland and used until it was deliberately sunk to block a channel on the approach to Roskilde. Archaeologists know this by identifying the tree species and counting the growth rings in the timbers. Amazing.
